July Stats

We are officially half way through the Distance Derby! The numbers are really starting to stack up. Keep up the great work. Check out everyone's hours for July:

6.5 hours - Highway Honeys (Crystal)
42 hours - Shade #1 (Glen)
47 hours - Shade #2 (Carol)
11 hours - Nickel (Nancy)
7 hours - Judy

That's a total of 151.5 hours for July! You guys are amazing! I can't wait to see how August hours add up!

June Stats

Where did June go? We had yet another amazing month of miles and hours! Keep up the great work!

We had a total of 103.7 hours for this month (did I do my math right?) Way to go!

So for the months of April, May, and June, we have ridden a total of 248.95 hours. I think I may be missing some hours from May but we are doing an amazing job!

Keep up the great work. I can't wait to see next month's hours/miles.

May Stats

The rains slowed us down a bit but it sure didn't stop the hours on horseback! The following are the hours/miles accomplished for May! Way to go!

We had a total of 60 hours for this month. For the entire Derby, we are currently sitting at 145.25 hours (and this isn't counting those that are counting miles only, so we have closer to 150 hours total)! Awesome job everyone!

April Stats

The numbers are in for April (don't forget, you can join at any time!)

• 12.5 hours for Team Borderlands
• 1.5 hours for Team Glide Ride
• 2.5 hours (10 miles) for Team Highway Honeys
• 15.25 hours for Team Shade#1 (Glen)
• 30.5 hours for Team Shade #2 (Carol)
• 11 hours for Team Nickel
• 11 hours for Team Judy
• 14.4 miles for Team Mielke Way

For the month of April we've ridden a total of  84.25 hours (not counting Mielke Way's miles since we need to figure out how to equate miles to hours but it would be over 85 hours for sure).

Competition Heating Up

We are off to a great start on the first Minnehaha County Saddle Club Distance Derby even with the crazy weather! I will tally all of the hours/miles accumulated so far and post soon. Don't forget to track your hours and/or miles. You can join the Distance Derby any time! The more the merrier!

It's GO TIME

On your mark, get set, GO! The Distance Derby is ON!  Can't wait to see everyone's hours and miles.

Blogger is currently having major issues with listing pages on the left (aka, the list of competing members). I'm waiting to hear back on what the workaround is. Until then, please track your hours/miles and I'll let everyone know when your page is available to list your hours/miles as comments (if that's how you want to track).

Looks like the end of the week is going to be gorgeous and prime riding/training weather.

Final Preparations

I'm still working out the code for the page. So if something doesn't work right, please be patient (and let me know). I'll hopefully have it fixed for the start of the Derby!

I'm sure that there's a few areas of improvement. Please bare with us while we go through a learning curve. Hopefully we'll have all the bugs figured out after the first month or two.

Can't wait to meet everyone and see everyone rack up tons of hours/miles! Four days and counting before the start of the 2013 Distance Derby!
